between two ponnnniies ~

I really had no idea what to do with the background, so I just left it transparent; though I really didn't want to do so cause *YellowEmbers already did that, but a colored background looked weird, and I never really like just white. Played around with shading (cause I never really considered shading my pony pics) and that scribble kind of hair highlight everybody can do except me x3;

I'll also follow her lead and state that no, I don't believe any of these characters are gay, even if I joke that Rainbow Dash is; and will write her as such in my stories - but still, doesn't mean I actually believe it. (Really only saying this cause gay ponies/shipping seems to be oddly serious business. Like shipping = sex or something, wut?) Anyway, onward.

Applejack/Rainbow Dash - Alternates between my first and second favorite of pony ships. I think I first started shipping this from a random youtube comment on Ticket Master, "You could cut the UST between Applejack and Rainbow Dash with a knife." And I was like yes and shipping commenced. On the surface, it seems like maybe they'd be too competitive with each other, but I think that'd be good for them; they can't win all the time, and they've shown to be good sports with other. Plus, I think they're totally best friends. And I'm a sucker for light blue and orange. Also, I love that scene in Swarm of the Century with Rainbow just draped over Applejack for like, no reason.

Pinkie Pie/Fluttershy - This also doesn't have an exact "aha" moment, just kinda, oh, this is cute. But that did turned into "ok, yeah, I ship it" in Over a Barrel, when Fluttershy of all ponies tackled Pinkie out of no where. She also seemed the most concerned about her (and I honestly did not even notice Pinkie was missing from the Appleloosa scene until she spoke up.) I also noticed that Pinkie is pretty protective of Flutter, the latter getting hurt seeming to be a pretty big Berserk Button. And whenever Flutter got too scared in Dragonshy, Pinkie was always the one to get her going. It's overall just very cute x3

Twilight/Rarity - This is technically a "leftover" ship; since I paired up the rest, guess that leaves these two, huh? So I don't really have any concrete reasoning behind it. But this is quickly becoming my top pony pairing, because of how I see them interacting as a couple, quiet and intimate. The kind of couple who doesn't have to be totally on each other all the time, a look across the room will do. I almost always imagine Rarity just simply leaning against Twilight while the latter reads or they're both talking to someone else. And that's just adorable to me. Plus, imagine Twilight adorkably crushing on someone like Rarity, how cute is that? Also, Rarity is best pony, so any ship with her will be best pairing.

While I only ship and support these three, there are others I think are cute. Derpy/anyone can be adorable (Trixie/Derpy being my pairing of choice for those two, cause of that one freaking cute picture.) Rainbow/Rarity is super cute, I really want to draw that. And YellowEmbers also sold me on Spike/Sweetie Belle, which is all sorts of adorbs. Lyra/Bonbon is cute, but I apparently keep missing all the times they're seen together, cause other than that one scene in episode 10, I rarely see them; so this pairing sometimes confuses me. Really the only pairing I dislike is Rainbow/Pinkie.

Edit: Please stop telling me things like "well I ship [insert ship combination other than the three seen here.]" Especially if that's ALL you have to say. Because I really don't care. Don't mean to be rude, but honestly? If I shipped any other ships than these, I would have drawn them. I don't care what you ship, and chances are I don't even LIKE that ship. Please stop telling me, it has nothing to do with my picture, it's pointless. Stop.
