Babstwist [art trade]

Art trade with MustLoveFrogs :3 I don't normally do art trades, but they asked so nicely, and I've been away from DA for so long, how could I say no? And what an interesting ship. I never would have thought about it (I on't really think much about Babs or Twist cause they're in the show so little. Especially poor Twist.) But I certainly appreciate new and creative ships, especially in this notoriously boring ship-wise fandom.

I don't think I've ever drawn two earth ponies together, and it's been a long while since I drew ponies other than unicorns; it's nice to be able to draw them pressing foreheads without worrying about the horns. I took the time to play a little bit around with marking ideas, tho I'll probably go more into that whenever I get around to drawing out my headcanons for the mane six. But I really like the idea of the Apple family being very freckly and spotty.

Oh, also, I know Babs's cutie mark is a pair of scissors (right?) this one was specfically requested. I hope you like it, Frogs

Edit: it has been brought to my attention that twitter user "imatt90" has stolen this piece to use as their icon and it has been shown that they have been knowingly trying to seduce underage girls. I don't have a twitter so I'm not sure what to do about this, but I wanted everyone to know I have no association with this person and did not give permission for them to use this. I do not associate with fucking pedophiles.
